The tool is nothing but the old *kake Kutter* with a plunger attached. I tried one when I started casting bullets.  I found it much easier to remove the bullet lube from the pan and push them out. I use the edge of my work bench to push a whole row out at a time. Much faster than the Kake Kutter and no chance of damaging the bullets or leaving extra lube on the bullets.  I use no stick metal baking pans. The lube and bullets almost fall out of them.  Dont know about using a cast iron frying pan like the guy in the youtube video.

I use a frying pan for pan lube.  Works good, handle, pour spout, has a lid, and no fire concerns.  Something else may be just as good.

SPG I can push bullets out with my thumbs

I don't have the money Joe does. I can not afford those fancy bake pans that he gets. I just put them in the freezer to make them let go, wait for them to warm up and push the spitzers out with a piece of leather on my thumb. Makes for real cool bullts that way, too  Smiley

German maid.  She took that picture.  You guys really need to get up to date on the latest pan lubing technology.   Helps to have a German maid too.  Of course if you dont have the money - I understand.   Wink

Hey Joe…

Try the silcone baking pans… work "better" as they are flexible. They're prettier too, since you can get 'em in a rainbow of different colors. Wink Grin

Thats my top secret cold weather lube. The only other person in the universe that knows the formula is Bob Tyler.  Bob wont talk.

I finally got these metal pans paid off so plan on using them. They dont grow on trees ya know.

No, she didnt arrange the bullets for me. It was her first, first hand look at pan lubing.

Vasoline and KY?  Hmmm?   Thats interesting. Has it been tried, as bullet lube I mean?

Nope, you need to add colloidal graphite and steam cylinder oil.

Deadwood is right those silicone pans are great especially for hard lubes. Once the lube has solidified just pull the sides away and turn upside down on to some newspaper. the cake fall right out. Don't borrow your wife's cake pan to try it, it'll make the cake taste funny.

I've  got about .05 invested in my lube trays custom fit for # of bullets required. You'd be surprised at how quick you can whip one up from tinfoil for 100-200 slugs just by doubling it up, pull up edges to required height, place slugs, pour, place in fridge, peel away and push out lubed slugs. Does'nt get any easier than that folks.
