Joe; wait until the Canadians all convert over to the new special barrels.

External twist. Reduces barrel vibrations. You will have to go to Raton, New Mexico for the ISSA Nationals if you wish to see what the new special barrels look like.

When they include a percussion schuetzen rifle match at Raton, I'll be there!

Too far, too costly and conflicts with matches I shoot in Montana.

External twist?   Sounds like Tom has been playing in the shop.   Cheesy

I'll have my people take pictures.  Cheesy

Of course Tommy can only order an export quality barrel; not the Canadian or Family grade version.

Chuck Bordman went up to Grandpas and made his own barrels under Grandpa's tutelage.

Tommy could do the same.  Barrels made this way are Known as RKS - US composite barrels.

Chucks been hammering out 250 after 250 with his.

Joe you need to send Chuck and a few other perfect US shooters to support the US team.

The Canadian newbies have started winning medals and shooting perfect targets. You better hurry up before Colleen starts training her kids to shoot as well. Sure got her new husband going. Took silver on bench at the last shoot. Most guys shoot years before they start placing in the medals.

All us perfect US shooters are getting too old.

I sure like Rob.   Colleen did good.

We finally got newbie Howard up shooting a blue streak as well. He was stringing from poor ignition because the firing pin in his rifle was too short. Took a while to figure that one out. Wait until next year Joe.
Howard shot a 250 with my rifle; so watch him shoot once his equipment is working for him.
