Wyoming Armory will likely have an original.
DZ Arms will likely have a repro (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links), as will Ballard Arms and the Shiloh makers.

Hey Boats,

FWIW, it's the same screw as the butt plate screws, IIRC, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.  If you have trouble with it, give me a call.  I probably have a couple in the parts drawers.  BTW, when are you coming through again?  I can provide and install it if you come to me!  Roll Eyes

Regards,
Froggie

The screw is the same as the butt plate screw except for length. The lower tang screw is actually shorter than the plate screw, but I doubt anyone would notice if you substituted in a plate screw.

The lower tang screw for the Win1885 is the same one used for the Win 1873-76-86 lower tang as well.

I'm pretty sure Doug Turnbull has some repros that are the proper length so you don't need to drill the stock hole any deeper.

Good tips, it's a new stock so no hole to worry about.  Froggy probably couple of weeks.
