	We are still missing about $150. I have not asked anyone to send in funds yet. Not until I am sure I have the required amount. Otherwise if you send it I'll just have to go through and ask everyone if they want their money back and send it. Couple this with the fact that we are already having some forum members questioning the motives of the Board of Directors. It looks like another case of "No good deed shall go unpunished"

	Quarter Bore I couldn't imagine why anyone would question the board of directors with their impecible history. I still think about all the thanks certain members who are no longer here got for their involvement with an ASSRA project rifle. Tom

	I'm sorry we can't all be as perfect as those who do nothing but complain and find fault. People who are not even members but take advantage of the association's hospitality by coming on this free site and abusing us.Those who do nothing never make a mistake.

	Who exactly do you think was not thanked? I remember all the thanks that Al Story got on the Borchardt We made up an award and gave it to Ken Hurst for his work. I was the project head on the last two rifles and everyone was thanked and the each got free advertising in the magazine for a year. I also wrote a couple of different articles and editorials and went out of my way to thank everyone who worked on the rifle and asked that the members try to patronise those craftsmen who worked on the rifle so who do you think didn't get thanked? 40 Rod

	Hey CM, what do you say you and I make up the shortfall since purchasing the medal for ASSRA evolved out of our ideas? I will up my pledge by $75.00 if you pay the remaining $75.00.

	Please PM me about any pledges for the medal. That way we have one person who knows what the total is and who can contact people. If you want to just donate money to the Association please feel free to send it to Dick Eesley, but if I don't know thats a donation for the medal, it will make things much more complicated and I won't know when/if we have enough accumulated to send for the medal. I will only ask for the money when we have enough pledges to pay for the medal. Again this will make things easier for me. Thanks. Current pledges equal $230

	WE HAVE MADE IT. We have enough for the medal. Thank you Biggi and everyone. A special thanks to Dave for putting us over the top. I will be contacting all who have made pledges no later then next Monday or Tuesday. My duties at the range helping with the Spring Matches will take most of my time until then. Thanks again to all. I will try to take a picture of the medal and it's display and have it run in the Journal as soon as possible. (It will be in a late fall issue due to time lag in publishing.)

	The medal has arrived in the USA. It looks very nice. I will bring it to the ASSRA Summer Match and then we will get a frame made and take it to various events. Thanks again to all of the donors.
