Front Rest -- info needed! (Read 2071 times)

	Gents: need some help here. A few years ago, there was a review in the Journal about a front rest that was designed with single shot rifles in mind as the rear leg was shorter to accommodate the lever. Massive, well made rest with windage and was a blue color. I think Green Frog wrote the review. I need to purchase replacement Nylon bags for the forearm or barrel to rest on. Seems as if something tried to eat through them this winter. Now the problem is that I can not recall the maker. Does anyone remember this? Or have contact information? Thanks.

	Ray, does bald eagle or protector ring any bells?. They are made out of leather. hope this helps. Frank

	FRank: drop me a private message with your e-mail address. Had a computer hic cup awhile back and lost e-mail addresses. No it is not either of those two. The rest was made by a one-man shop in VA or WV, but not sure. It is very well made.

	Ray ; If what you are saying is that you need a replacement front bag for your unknown front rest, you quite likely will be able to match up dimensions with a Protektor product, either leather or nylon at your choice.
