Stevens 417 1/2 forearm dimensions needed

Can anyone tell me what the thickness/width of the 417 1/2 forearm is at the rear of the forearm where it meets the front of the frame?  I recently purchased a 417 1/2 with a refinished (poorly and with a handstop rail inlet into it) forearm.  Perhaps it would be better to ask how proud the wood should stand on each side of the frame (I believe it should be flush on the bottom)?  This one is about flush and uneven while my 417 forearm stands proud by a good 3/32" on each side.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The stock on my 417 1/2 .22 Hornet is 1/32 proud from the frame. I am certain that the stock has never been touched. Hope this helps

Mine's about 1/16", the sides flair out about 1 3/4"in a concave arc & the bottom bellies down about 1/8".      Good luck,    ...MIKE...
