Sharps Borschardt Barrel

I have a Sharps Borschardt barrel that was bored out to a .410 long before I got it. Is it possible to reline it to the 45-70? Also can anyone tell me what something like this is worth? It still has the rear sight and the bluing is fair to good. This is a barrel off of a military action.
Thanks Bill

Sorry Bill but its not worth much at all. Value is in rear sight, otherwise its just a hollow tube with the makers name on it. But that can be got for $75, brand new..Granted there is some machine work done on the tube, but anyone wanting to do a restoration would rather have a good barrel on it. JMHO    Don

I have to agree with Rustyrelx. I remember an ex member of this Forum having a good 45/70 military barrel for sale at $100.00. No one took the bait. I believe he still has it. As Rusty says. the rear sight is the only part that may bring you a few bucks. Cry
Sorry,

Harry
