     Hi Rafter 3c:

     Back in my "Dark Ages" I had a DW made up om a standard 722 action.  I used .225 Win. brass that was perfect to form the  DW  brass.  By doing it this way, I did not have to alter the bolt face on the 722.  All was good!

     I soon found that the DW was poor excuse for a varmint caliber as the .222 Remington Magnum would do as much as the Wasp.   

     I loaded 27gr. 3031 with a 52 gr. HP.  What the pressure and velocity was, it was anybodies guess.  I have some books that show the Wasp getting 4100 fps. with  a 50 grain. bullet! LOL!!!!

     Then, I"discovered" the Swift and never looked back!

PS: How about opening the Wasp up for a .22-30-30 IMP?  I think that your life would be a lot more simple and you may have a much better cartridge!  This cartridge has always intrigued me!
