Hi All

I am visiting IN next week from Denmark.

I am passing through IN in the start of  next week and have some spare time to visit Edna Green, is there anyone here there can show me the shooting range or give me directions like GPS coordinates to find it.

Also I would like to apply for a membership of ASSRA at the same time if possible and pay for it, I am flying out of Europe Sunday morning.

As far as joining the ASSRA you could call the association president, Bob Glenn @ 312-897-8645 or e-mail him at robertglenn3 at allstate.com. The Range Manager is Charles Persons, 260-244-3317 and DirectorB at assra.com. Membership Adm is Keith Foster 419-393-2976 and membership at assra.com. Would think any or all of them could help you.

    The "man on the scene" for ASSRA is Charles Persons, as mentioned above... he lives fairly close to the range and can probably meet you someplace and guide you to the rather hard to find range location.  He posts on this board using the screen name, cdpersons, if I remember correctly.  after I send this, I'll double check and correct if necessary.  I'm 600 miles away or I would come meet you myself... I'd love to hear about shooting in Denmark.

PS  Mea culpa - his screen name is  rimfire  he just frequently signs his posts with his initials and last name.  Charlie is a great guy and if he is not at work or otherwise tied up, will be an excellent spokesman for the Association and to introduce you to our "home range" there at Etna Green.   BTW, if you google it, you can use a map to find the range actually nearer Mentone, Indiana than the town we use as a mailing address, Etna Green.  As you would expect, the range is WAAAAY out in the country!  GF

Another good contact for Etna Green is our Vice President, Ken Meyer, who lives within 15 minutes of the range and is also a great person to meet.  His email is: h_m_pope@yahoo.com.  His phone number is:
(574) 267-8964.  If Charlie is unavailable I am sure that Ken would be very happy to give you a tour of the range and its facilities.
