... since Ellsworth retired in April 2010?
This is a remake of the Ideal 31950 (319050) mould and is good for gallery shooting

He had the business with all of the assets, inventory and good will up for sale for two years prior to closing it down.  He told me he wanted to purchase a large motor home and travel, mostly around Florida.

The last time I drove past his place, it was closed up and that was last year in the Spring of 2010.  I was interested in the remaining finished goods inventory.  S & S had some moulds which they ran "on specials", but I believe most of those are sold out by now.

Johnboy I have a proven Lyman 32 light gallery bullet mold. Works real good in my CPA 32/40 Shot it at Conestoga several times. May shoot it again Feb Match.

Away from home now but next few days will give you the number and what size bullet it throws.

Meanwhile anybody see the same for the 38/55 let me know. Sure miss Raphine he gave good value for the money and reproduced many nice old mold designs

Boats, the Lee Discontinued 375-130-1R CONICAL (130gr) @ Natchez
(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Bought it when Lee had it in production.  Use it for gallery matches ... 4.8gr Trail Boss.  At 1:30, they drop @ 145gr with a 381 base.  I lube using Alox

Be sure to take the wiggle out of the Lee mold handles.  Otherwise the bases will run out from 379 to 384 (voice of experience).  If you need the bases smaller, run them through the Lee Lube/Sizer.  A five second head pressure pour yields really sharp bases.

On subject of Rapine molds....

I have been looking for any of the Rapine 56-56 spencer bullet molds.

Those that have them don't want to sell them.

Tried various N-SSA sutlers...no one has any used ones.
