	J, too bad you had a couple of run aways outside the 25 ring. Definitely 3 excellent targets! I have a couple of 38's that have been working well, the Ideal 375166 and 375300. Both grouped well with original gunpowder on all the silhouettes from 200 to 500m. Guess I will have to mate them up with the 300MP powder Here's the maiden range test of the 375166 ... 	Joe, Great targets, can't argue with results like that. Wondering why you picked 300MP over one of the more traditional Single Shot powders though. Would the rifle preform as well with 4227 and pistol primers ? What do you figure the advantage to the 300 with a magnum primer is. It's so new I can't find it on any of the relative quickness charts so don't know were it fits. Although have to admit when primers were short last year I had a thousand Federal 215 magnums from the last primer shortage. Used them all year in 38/55 loads with 4759 some of the best results I have ever had with that rifle and load. Boats

	Boats, From what I've been able to find out......300MP is a little slower than 296/H110 loaded in full power charges in the 357 Max and the 44 Mag. (you can add 1 gr over 296 for the same vel and 2 gr will increase with about the same press). I bought some when this thread first was posted but, I'm waiting until about the end of Feb or first 2 weeks of March, to try it (when it warms a bit) before our first match here. I'm very curious to find out what it will do with pistol primers in my 32/35 and 32/40's. Frank

	Great targets John! Might just have to clamp a barrel rest on my rifle and stoke it up with your new powder. And mount a scope. I swore I wouldnt do it, the scope part that is. You've tempted me right over the edge. What kind of windflags did you use? I'm assuming you had very little conditions? Joe.

	Thanks Joe will have a look at it, I ought to get our of my rut always using the same thing. Only shooting offhand it's not easy to keep up with developments. Boats
