This rifle should be here Saturday, thought you might like a peek. Its a Martini sporting rifle that has been re-bored from 297/250 to .256 Win Mag. The pictures should speak for themselves. Take care and God bless....cordell

A lot of work went into that nice Martini.   How was the pattern made on the sides of the frame. Stamped? Engraved?   Classy rifle.
I want it real bad!   Cry

Hello westerner,
I think it is hand engraved but it may be stamped in places. I should have it in hand tomorrow (God willing) and I will give you an update on the little guy! I am already planning the next 2 barrels for it, and although I would like to do a .357 Mag barrel first, it will probably be a .22 Jet due to the fact I already have the barrel.

Thanks for the compliment on the .256 Win Mag, hopefully it is as accurate as it was described!!! Take care and God bless.....cordell

Brother reports that it shoots just fine. I'll challenge him when out for Thanksgiving.

Hello Joe,

The patterns on the side panels of that Greener Rook Rifle action were put on by Roller Dies. An awful lot of them were made and the roller die was the cheapest way to do it. It would have taken days to hand engrave that rifle action with that basket weave pattern.
