July 14, 2010     Belated Birthday Greeting

    In Okemah, Oklahoma was where Woody Guthrie was born on July 14, 1912.

     Woody called his home town "  the singingest, square dancingest, laughingest, talkingingest, shootingest, gun carryingest of ranch towns " among other things.

     Happy Birthday Woody  !        Woodrow Wilson Guthrie, one of America's best.
