A picture or three would help, after all, they can say far more than the limit of words you are allowed per posting. A lot of folks may be able to help you then.

Hi Roger,

    Better to be self sufficient these days than to pass things off to others.  If you've gotten this far with posting messages on the Forum, you are within an arms reach of posting photo images attached to you messages.

If you'll look a slight distance down from the white message pad where you type in your word message, you'll see a long slender white block to the left of which is the word "Attachment 1: " and to the right of which is the word (in white) " Browse... "

At that location is where the address for the location on your computer goes for the photo images which you would want to send as part of your message.

You have mentioned that you will send your photos to someone who would take care of posting them for you.  If you are capable of sending photos in an E-mail message, you are a whisker away from being able to post then on this forum.

Give it a try, you'll be surprise just how straight forward the whole process actually is.

Here in South Texas, a local German gunsmith by the name of George Klause remodeled cheap old rifles(ballards, highwalls, lowwalls, stevens 44 1/2) into .22lr schuetzen rest rifles for the style of shooting the Germans adopted in this area.  Gregoire was the prefered barrel used by this gunsmith.  The barrels are cut rifled left hand twist that look like Pope rifling.  From what I have been able to determine, most of these rifles were built after WWII through the 1960's.
Many are still in use (I shoot a ballard built on a forged non rebated pacific action) and do quite well against modern target rifles.  You can see the way we shoot today in the old style at  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links); .  Our club is the oldest in the nation and just celebrated our 162nd year.
I have never seen an action Gregoire built or designed.  This one looks rather clunky but has some very interesting features.  I would love to see pictures of this one taken apart and layed out so that I could see how it functions.
