You're right Set Trigger. Also there are only a fixed amout of original guns around and for the average person they will become unavailable. In the same old catalog were listed Brown Bess muskets for $60.00 and 2 or 3 fine Hawken rifles for $800.00 to $1000.00. Yes that was a lot of money then, but the difference is that they were available then and are becoming less so now. My interest now is mainly in shooting so I'll spend my money on new stuff, but it would be nice to own a Fordney longrifle or a Pope single shot.
