Just thought you guys might like to see some photos of a couple of Winchester 1885 Limited Series .45-90 BPCRs I sold recently.

They sure are pretty rifles. I found one for sale here locally that has wood on it like the one on the right but it is chambered in .45-70. I hope to get it but am not 100% sure that I will use it enough to justify the purchase. 

I have heard that the wood comes from the US? I know that the barrels are from Badger but I wasn't sure about the barrels.

Jay,

If it's the Winchester Limited Series BPCR in .45-70 than there is one difference other than caliber.  The 45-70 has a polished blued barrel rather than the matte-finished blued barrel on the .45-90 and 50-90 versions.  I much prefer the matte finish, but some do like the highgloss finish.
