Anybody Looking for a Custom Cadet in .22 Hornet

One of our local dealers has a partially finished Martini Cadet in .22 Hornet for sale.  As I just bought one built on a Model 15 action which is out being refinished, I had to pass, but thought I'd put the information up about it to see if one of you might be interested in the rifle.  I have no economic interest in the transaction at all.

Where it stands:  26 inch barrel of medium weight.  Barrel may be stainless - not sure and forgot to ask.  If it's not, it's in the white.  I'd estimate the diameter at the muzzle to be around 0.75 inches.  Has a one piece Weaver style scope mount base installed.  New forend, shaped similarly to the Cooper Varminter forends - sort of a trapezoidal configuration with a somewhat flat bottom.  Firing pin has been bushed for a high pressure cartridge.  Action is not refinished, but has about 90% blue, as does the lever.  Butt is the original Cadet buttstock with clear markings.  Some dings, but nothing major.

If I recall correctly, the asking price is $479.

Dealer is Quinby's Gun and Sport Shop, Route 313 and Applebutter Road, Dublin, PA.  Telephone is (215) 249-1144.

Second generation of a family operation, great guys to deal with.
