310 Cadet--looking for a peep sight

Hi,

New to this board and just got a BSA 310 Cadet.  I've read that there was a peep sight made for them.  I believe it was a BSA no 8, but I understand that you have to know the correct height, because the No 8 came in several variations. Am I on the right track?

Can anybody point me to a possible source for this sight or give me any ideas for other model sights that would work on the Cadet?

Where are you? I have a spare no 8 sight for the cadet--in the UK.

Right now there's both a BSA No. 8 folding tang sight and a Parker Hale No. 7 receiver sight on EvilBay.  Either one would require that you drill and tap your rifle on top of the stock socket area.  The Parker Hale sight is clunkier looking, but has much better adjustments than the No. 8.
