Wyoming Armory 1885

My brother Keith at Wyoming Armory made this up for me.  It started life as a Winder musket.  It's chambered now in 25-20 wcf.  I haven't had much time for shooting or load development since I've had it but it's doing ok, I think.  I have a seating tool ordered from Russ Weber that should be here soon.  Right now I'm shooting the Ideal 257382, fixed.  Any load suggestions would be welcome.

Ken,
Did Keith make you a knife to go with that gorgeous gun?

Good shooting! Grin

So far so good.  Anybody got a mould that casts a bullet like this that they want to sell?

RCBS makes a 120 grain GC bullet that should work. It has a flat nose and two very wide grease grooves plus the GC.

The bullet you're now using looks a lot like the 320 grain RCBS bullet I use in my 38-55.

Looks a lot like my Barnett mould only smaller, mine is .285" diameter, 155gr PB, this mould casts bullets better & easier than ANY other mould I own or have ever owned, anyone that has one of these jewels probably feels like I do, it will be passed on in my Will.
Good luck finding one KenK,

I thought I remembered Keith saying it was either a Mos or Paul Jones mould.  I'm working at getting Mr. Mos to make me one up.  Paul Jones is not taking orders per his website, he may have quit making small caliber moulds anyway...

I think I may need to get it .100 or so shorter.  That low shot looked like it was tipped some.
