Beeman Precision

Heard last night from a man that should know that Beeman closed their doors on Fri and laid everybody off. Another old company gone.

Could be, I've always been a Crosman guy myself when it comes to airguns.  Most of their guns are made in the USA.  I have fond memories of stalking sparrows on my dad's farm as a kid with my 10-pump Crosman 66.  I still shoot a lot in my basement when I can't get to the range.

I had a Crossman and a Benjamin .22. The poorest kid in the neighborhood had a Sheridan .20 which sold for 60.00.  That was one nice pellet rifle. We took many squirrels with that Sheridan. 

I wore out an Anshutz 250.  Dang! Now I want a new air rifle!   Smiley

When I shot with the 80th Div Large Bore Rifle team, the folks that did the best were those that practiced over the winter with air guns.

Too bad to lose Beeman.  Beeman used their airgun experience and design with German engineering and manufacturing skills. 

I've spent many enjoyable hours firing my P1 Magnum:

It served as a great trainer for my Colt LW Commander, at a fraction of the cost per round.
