	Just got this Rolling Block yesterday. .38-55, 30 in. bbl. (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) There are a lot of more expensive and prettier rifles out there, but I am sure proud of this one!

	It ain't braggin if it's true. Nice rifle. beautiful wood. Would not mind having a Stevens in .38-55. Interesting cartridge.

	I love the wood. Love the caliber. Love rollers. Do you know if the chamber is for original length brass or the newer short brass? Who made it? Hows the trigger? You gonna shoot it in some matches? I like it. Joe.

	Beautiful Roller and something to brag about.38-55 cal is fun also.Have four Rollers myself in 45-70,40-70SBN,40-70straight and 40-65. Fritz

Fritz I have a roller in 40/70 BN also. Heavy 28" barrel. That rifle really rattles the rafters when it's teched off. Has a set rigger too, fer techin it off. Joe.

	Tye River (Wayne Lawhorne) had a hand in it before his death. My son (Moodyholler) did a lot of the work. Another shooting friend, Jim Wheeler, did some finish work and the browning. I have not been able to shoot it yet. The road to the range has not been plowed out, and it will probably be weeks before I can get to my farm. I will load some blackpowder loads in the next few days and hope the snow melts some. I am sure it is chambered for modern brass. Merry Christmas to all!

	Might be something to that slow thing, but standing in a foot or more of wet snow in a freezing rain just isn't conducive to accuracy testing
