I wound up getting two Highwall actions from American Gun Company and having them both engraved.  Border engraving on the frame, scroll on the lever on one. The second one had the same engraving as the first and in addition there is an open diamond of engraving on the sides of the action.  I had the engraver checker new  hammers, as the maker was doing some pretty crude cross-hatching on them.  The new hammers are now being fitted to the actions by a highly competent Highwall smith.   When they come back from the smith I'll post photos.  I liked the engraver's work on Colts so much that I gave him my most accurate 2nd Gen Single Action in .357 to engrave. I lucked out in finding the engraver. He's a contract engraver for Colts.  Can't give his name as he is not taking any new work. I lucked out because the Highwall gunsmith is his friend and the smith put in a good word for me.
