I have a need to know about the rifling of vintage 1880ish Sharps
Creedmoor competition rifles. I understand that the rifling was quite shallow. Does anyone know what might have been the standard groove depth or land height? This would have been for paper patched bullets. If some one really wants to be helpful, he'd contrast this Sharps rifling with Henry rifling.
