I would like some info on a size to use for 50ft .22 Schuetzen shooting. The largest size that I have is .118" and I can see no white around the bull. Any help wouls be nice.

Thanks, Ron. Smiley

Have you tried the Lee Shaver inserts?  I used one of them on the WSU target last winter and had no aperture problems.  My shooting errors & poor scores could all be attributed to me.

School of thought on this is you need to have half the bull dia. more on both sides of the black of white. So if the bull just fits the dia. I guess I would double it.

I use the same insert 50' as 200 yards.  All the ASSRA bulls 200 100 & 50 yards are to scale except the 50'  It shows a bit larger than the other distances. Some have said it was originally drawn for 75 feet and stayed the same size when moved closer.

Insert I use for the front is the largest one I can get.  Rear I stop up and down depending on ambient light.  If you need a measurement send me a PM and will take it exact tomorrow
