I just ran across this on the levergun site.

if you use brake cleaner to clean parts because it leaves no residue, like I USED to do.   Take time to read the link.

It can be VERY seriously dangerous

The wrong combination of common household cleaners can kill you under the right set of bad circumstances.  If you read all the warnings on everything we use daily, you would probably be afraid to use anything. Appreciate the heads up. Just need to keep it away from high heat sources. I prefer to use many products outside when possible.

I guess its really most dangerous if you are using it in the same area where you are doing fine detail welding---like a gunsmithing workshop.

It would not be a common thing but, they again I don't have so many friends I can spare any of them.

Thanks for the heads-up.   Shocked  I use the stuff, but don't do any welding in my shop.  Weather permitting, I try to take parts outside to blast with brake cleaner.
