Just sharing info. Recently bought this one on Gunbroker. .25 Stevens with decent bore and original 455 Stevens Scope. First one I have found with the correct scope. Very nice rifle. It is difficult to find Favorites in such good condition.

Slumlord,

Very nice find!!
Parson's had some Stevens mounts like those shown in your pics reproduced for both the Stevens size dovetails and also  to fit standard 3/8" dovetails. Would have to call him to see if he still has inventory.
Again, very nice Favorite!

Regards,
BP

I have a supply of ammo and have shot it. Still trying to get it zeroed in. Had a windy day and never realy got it where I wanted it. The bore is good but not pristine. Some minor pitting near the chamber end. The rest is prety nice though. I have never found the .25 RF to be nearly as accurate as the .22 LR. I have a Stevens 418 in .22 RF and a 418 1/2 in .25 RF and the .22 shoots rings around the .25. Both rifles have pristine bores and tang sights. Will post photo if I can get a good group out of it.
