BPCR Record score

I understand from a friend that Brian Chilson shot a perfect score of 40 at Ridgeway, Pa. this past weekend, in the scope class. I believe this is the first 40 shot in competition in either the iron sight or scope class, someone correct me if this is not true. The conditions were rainy and nasty. In the iron sight class, Brian was second in a shootoff. Shooting ten straight chickens [offhand] with one of those heavy rifles seems unreal to me.   leadball

For those that do not know Brian and the Ridgway range, I found this post over on the shiloh site. I can attest that the weather that weekend was not nice at all. Brian is a great guy and deserves all the best for this and all his other accomplishments.

Guess we'll have to think about forming a "Chilson Class"... three perfect scores in a two year period. That way guys like Brian will have something to shoot for (pun intended).
