Merle, you may have unintentionally offended a proud and resilient people. I’m sure it’s just a typo.  They are Boers not Boars. They ended up in a tie with the British. Boers 1 Brits 1. Of course since the Brits won the last one it was 'game set and match'. You have to admire their spirit and their motto, “God and the Mauser”. Now it’s my turn to offend some folks. They won the first one primarily because they had (dare I say it) Mauser repeating rifles and the British had single shot Martinis. Let the stoning begin.
