I usually make this post first, but got ahead of myself, and posted a question before introducing myself. I have had an interest in BP cartridges for a few decades, and used to be active in the loading/shooting of such. As is with a number of interests, some seem to fall by the wayside, this being one of them. My most active interest has been the rebuilding/restoration of old Harley-Davidson engines/transmission. I'm still active in that, but decided that my interest in vintage shooting is something that should have never fallen short, so I'm becoming more active in it. I don't belong to any organizations, like SASS, as I shoot more for personal pleasure than competition. And, single-shot shooting is more my preference, as it requires more personal attention, on my part. I do shoot modern, smokeless cartridges, though none of the very modern stuff. Just the wildcat/custom ones that I was exposed to in my younger years. Should have paid more attention to my 'elders', in those days, and I would have experienced way more. Youth can have many distractions. Anyway, I'm here to learn what I missed, and catch up on what I've grown rusty on. And, maybe contribute when I can. Thanks for a great forum. Jack
