Does anyone have any information on A. Peterson, a gunsmith in Denver Colorado? I have an old rifle that was rebarreled by him and can't find any info on him.

You can't be serious,

Axel W. Peterson & Son (Roy) 1429 Larimer Street, Denver, Colorado was one of the best known of the the old schuetzen gunsmiths, he worked with George Schoyen in Denver, was well known for his rifle stocks and scopes, he was particularly known for his 22 rimfire barrels as well as his temper, A. W. Peterson was not a man you wanted to cross. There is a good article on Peterson and other schuetzen barrel makers by James Serven in the 1974 Gun Digest. I'm sure the other members will fill in the rest.
