I just finished reading my copy.  A few typos, typical in a first edition, but overall very well done.  I hadn't realized the variety of the big sporting Remington rolling blocks nor how scarce they actually are.

This is the first collectors' book I've seen that actually had letters of certification in the front from the major Rolling Block experts to the effect that every conclusion drawn in the book is the best consensus available.  Since most of the Remington factory records are gone, I guess this is as solid as it gets, at least until more rifles turn up for further study.

Spud it is a great book IMO. the title is mainly Remingtom Rolling Block Rifles and Sporting @ Target rifles. Bt Roy Marcot.
