rebarreling a BSA international (Read 4729 times)

	I am looking to purchase a new barrel for my international. This will be the first time I have done this. Does anyone make a better 22lr barrel than anyone else? I would like a heavy octagon barrel, just because I like the look. Thanks to anyone that will help. Tommy Auger

	You can also get a RKS gain twist barrel in octagon from Ron Smith if you are willing to do the final draw filing and polishing yourself. Many of us are shooting RKS barrels on Martini Internationals.

	Joe; You have really depressed my original BSA and she won't go to the range with me anymore; so now I may have to break out the RKS barreled International. Just have to get some decent ammo for it. Maybe you could lend me some of your squirreled away top shelf rimfire. My Federal batch ammo doesn't shoot very well even though I put it in Eley Tenex boxes. Not sure what my problem is. Unfortunately my rimfire shooting is truly a desperate situation. Maybe you can handicap me; and not just a few points, to make up the difference. We should really make it a fair competition next time we meet. By the way what did you want to shoot for as a prize?

	David Nice to meet you at Eau Claire match. I am looking at the green mt barrels. I was wondering what you thought of taking the #3 and turning it down to half round. Should I move up to a #4 if I am going to do that?? In doing that will that hurt that heavy barrel in any way? I know that it only going on a 22lr so I dont think it would matter but I thought I asked... Thanks Tommy Auger Happy 4th
