Article, article!  Somebody in that bunch really ought to commemorate the event with a lavishly illustrated article and submit it to the SSR-J for publication.  If you start now with background and submit it within a few days of the event, you might even make the current deadline!  Right, John?

This is a truly momentous occurrence and deserves full coverage.  If somebody wants to fly me out there, I would be glad to write it up my ownself!  Roll Eyes

Have shot with these gentlemen before when traveling Texas. Gave me a warm reception and enjoyed it very much.

Best wishes on the clubs 160th. that's an accomplishment for sure.

Irish, during the 100 shot match are you allowed to rest your barrel on the barrel rest? Or do you have to raise the barrel off when firing ?

Oh, just noticed it will follow WSU rules. Well then, if it were a club match how does the barrel rest work? Whats allowed?

for the 100 shot match the wsu rules are being used this year only as we have a bunch of targets to get rid of. you must have the barrel clear of the rests when shooting. the side with the rest are for our standing rest rifles, and thats another whole story. also this is an example of the rest rifle. there are also ballards, highwalls, stevens, win 52, basically fro the rest gun if it a good quality target 22 rimfire have at it.
we shoot both scope and iron. owful hand and rest!
