Cresent Arms Rolling Block (Read 2393 times)

	I did a search of the site and found nothing. Has anyone heard of a Rolling Block made by Cresent Arms? I just saw one, a takedown, in 30 RF. Yep, 30 not 32. Decent shape, similar to Remington #4. I've never hears of one but that mean's little as I have now seen one. Any help (info) will be greatly appreciated!

	In de Haas' book he says they began in Norwich, Conn. about 1891 and were eventually absorbed by Stevens around 1932. He says they were chambered in .22,.25, and .32 long RF. Hope this helps Regards, Joe

I guess I am looking for anyone who has shot one or worked on one. I may get it but first I have to see if I can find a new breech block to convert to CF. Now to search this site for info on gunsmithing the #4!

	Unable t find anything on Cresent or Remington #4 with the search function on this site. I can't believe no one has written about their #4 so I must not be using Search correctly. No one with Cresent experience?
