Excuse me, but I am not familiar with the abbreviation Boats used for his STS20. I assume it describes a scope.Thanks,

If our legislators want to make a new law ( and you know they do ) they should make abbreviations illegal.   Wink

Sorry for the shorthand.  STS generally means Lyman Super Target Spot scope.   In the case of my scope it's a Parsons STS 20 power.  Gill Parsons bought up stocks of Lyman parts and produced new STS scopes with a mix of old and new stock.  Not marked Lyman anywhere on the scope.

Wish he would make some more mine, about 10 years old may be one of the last ones produced.

Dont worry Boats they'll have the new law all screw'd up. You'll be able to find a loophole. It'll be a lot harder to abbreviate and of course you'll have to pay to do it.  Wink
