If any one is planning on stopping by their store in New Haven, IN on the way to any of the ASSRA matches at Etna Green this summer you may want to call ahead - they are only open from 1300-1700 weekdays now and rumor has it that Brownells is going to pack them up and move them to Iowa sometime this summer.  you all have a good day now - the rimfire - cdpersons

Hadn't heard the rumor, but living now in Virginia I get to Iowa much more often than Indianna. (Relatives)

That will be a real loss for the middle of the country!  I hate the idea of not being able to just walk in and shop as opposed to having to do on-line or phone shopping.  The personal touch and actually seeing the merchandise is so much more pleasant.  We should try to take advantage of the Ft Wayne store while we can!!

That has been gone for some time. There has been a different atmosphere att he retail sales counter since Brownell's take-over. Larry, the guy most of you are familiar with at the retail counter, moved over to the main building service at the counter has not been the same.
I live just across town and with the reduced hours they are open, mail-order or online purchase is as convenient.

I always enjoyed buying things from Sinclair.  They were very friendly and knowledgable people.  I hate to see this happen.  Tom.

The sad thing is, it is not the employees. They are good local people here and don't deserve the bad press or possible loss of their jobs. To my knowledge, with the possible exception of the ladies, all the employees are dedicated shooters in one venue or another.  These changes may be good for Brownell's and Sinclair ownership but not so much (as I see it) for the folks who work at Sinclair nor for tne customers.
