	The weather was nice and sunny. Chuck Bordman shot another 250. New shooter and member of this forum Steve Conner used an original #4 Ballard to win the king target. Steves Ballard was relined by John Taylor. This was the first outing for the rifle. With borrowed powder and bullets and some loading tools Steve was shooting three inch groups from the bench with iron sights. I was very impressed with Johns work on the rifle. 	Joe: Pass on a hearty congratulations to Chuck for me. We just can't keep up to Bordman with all of his 250s. Let me know if Steve Conner or any of the Pacific Northwest shooters need an invite to come to our ISSA Canadian Schuetzenfest combined with an ASSRA International Team Benchrest Competiton the first week of June. Dave

	Hey, that's ME! I'm famous!!! Thanks for a great first match. A great group of shooters and a more generous bunch you couldn't find anywhere. I learned SOOO much. I'll definitely be shooting more matches. Thanks to all for the help. Steve Conner

	Joe: Is Chuck still pounding in his bullets with a stick? Wonder what would happen if he ever used a Weber adjustable bullet seater. Maybe that's my problem. Maybe I have to change my seating to better adjust for wind and mirage changes. Chuck must have figured it out. Dave

I havent watched him shoot for quite a while now. I think he has a mechanical seater Manley Oakley made for him. Chuck told me he throated that rifle to seat easy. Although Chuck's a late bloomer he sure is shining bright . I told him you said congrats. I shot a 250 also, with the .22, Of course it wasn't really me, it was the ammo....... FED 900 lol. That's the fifth 250 I've shot with my Stevens. Dave, you should blast down to Lakeview for the NW regional. You've got time. Drive something fast. Do you have a Jag?? Joe.

	Great Shooting Westerner!!!!! I thought you guys used up all of that good Federal ammo and were searching for good rimfire feedstock like the rest of us. So Joe were you firing a Martini with a RKS barrell like the rest of us or were you using something a bit more traditional? You Americans keep shooting like that, there will be no sense in us Canadians crossing over the border.

	So Joe were you firing a Martini with a RKS barrell like the rest of us or were you using something a bit more traditional? Martini ? Heavens no ! I used my trusty Walnut Hill Heavy. Well, it does have one of uncle Rons gain twist barrels on it. Of course you know that old FED ammo is so good you could shoot a 250 with a slingshot if you had to. Vall, you need to come to the next match at TR&R. Open relays, no pressure, just plink and have fun. Joe

	When is the next match Joe? Is Ron Heilman still shootin that old Trapdoor!? I was up there once years ago when I got interested in schuetzen, but just watched the match.

	So Joe do you have traditional Pope rifling in your RKS barrel? or the new modern cut rifled gain twist? I'm wondering if Single Shot Tom's new secret rifling done by Ron Smith; if it is Pope rifling. I know Ron has done some Pope rifling in the past.

	I'm not sure Vall. Cant seem to find my match flyer that should have the dates on it. Heres a link to TR&R. (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) Didn't see it in there either. It's usually at the end of August to sometime in September. Every time Ron brings that early number Trapdoor he blows our doors off. He uses the 1873 open barrel sight to boot! Ron's been into the military CBA match's at Paul Bunyun so hasn't been making the TR&R match's. Last time he was there he brought a #4 1/4 Ballard he'd just aquired, for show and tell. When I get the dates for the fall Shutzen match I'll let ya know. You should at least bring a .22.............. a fancy high grade Stevens would be nice. Joe.
