Well finally saw a picture of the Green Frog. Mr. Charlie Schaeff. Seems a gentleman was having problems with his Winchester High Wall in 225 win and with the his help corrected the problem. Very distinguished gentlemen he is too. Nice to put a picture to the handle he uses. You can see him in all his glory on page 72 of the april issue of Precision shooting. Frank

There are a few impersonators around.  Are you sure it was the genuine Green Frog ?

I confess, that was a genuine Frog sighting by Glenn Burroughs.  I don't know why it seems to be such a big deal, since I have been frequently portrayed in my Product Review articles in the SSR Journal using the various products I... review!  Wink  I guess the fact that Glenn "outed me" to the larger world via Precision Shooting will add to my already faltering grip on normalcy, though.   Cool

BTW, that article shows me using the Wheeler Professional Gunsmithing Screwdriver Set I reviewed recently.  My opinion of them is unchanged and the set stays on my workbench all the time.  IIRC I was also using the Lyman Revolution gun vise which was most helpful in manipulating the high-wall to get that *%^$$#% coil spring action reassembled.  I really like it for the amateur enthusiast, and it has a place in my shop as well.  "And now back to your regularly scheduled programming..."   Cheesy

A frogs at one end of a log,
at the opposite end is a frog,
six foot from the frog,
and eight foot from the dog,
is a triangle, how longs the log.

Ten feet, but you have a typo there.

Quote"A frogs at one end of a log,
at the opposite end is a frog,"

Shouldn't one of those frogs be a dog?

The mathmatical Frog

PS  You are describing a perfect 3-4-5 triangle doubled.  What do I win?  Smiley

PPS and my feet aren't that big, I prefer to think of them as elegantly useful!  Grin

        Seriously,  Green Frog     Smiley

Are you coming up to the Columbia Schuetzenverin match in Thurmont, Maryland over the April 17, 18 & 19 weekend ?

We'll be coming down to Virginia for your scheduled match, so was hoping to see you up here.

Unfortunately, I will be tied up with the N-SSA Chesapeake Regionals that weekend.  The most I could hope for would be to get there for a while Friday, and not get much shooting at that. Maybe I'll get real energetic and stop by with my .22 offhand rifle... that wouldn't require hauling a lot of equipment.  Are many of the faithful going to make it for Friday, or are most waiting for the weekend?  I wouldn't mind seeing folks on Friday if many will be able to get away from work and be there.

I believe one of his feet is larger than the other! I say this after watching him on two seperate occaissions attempting to put on his N-SSA skirmishing boots. One would go on and the other not. Do I have that right Charlie??

BTW, I am planning the Friday .22 shooting at Thurmont. It does sometimes seem that Friday ends up being the BUSIEST day and a good one for seeing friends.

I don't plan on shooting the Patomac for various reasons but hope to come up.

PS to all, If ever there was a Frog worth keeping around, The Green One is IT!!!

Froggy I am shooting Friday, It may be the best day largest turn out.  After we retreat to the Schuetzenmasters Library.  It has the best collection of  gun books you will ever see.  Good Whiskey too.

Sunday understand the Swiss Club is shooting, Electronic targets, you shoot and strike shows up on a computer monitor at the firing line. It's 300 yards and they like to limit to Swiss rifles but bet a High Wall could wipe there eye. I think you have one.
