That darn global warming

I got up early, like three in the morning. Loaded the red rocket with rifles and gear. Drove the eighty miles to Tacoma for Chucks BP match. It was called off do to nasty weather.  When I got up this morning it was hailing and snowing. It's the middle of March!!
I'll be glad when we get this global warming problem solved!    Cheesy

I just wish they'd schedule the non-global warming days on the weekdays, and not weekends! Grin

It's all about solar flares. They stopped last year ya know. No, really.

We had a slight blanket of snow here last weekend. Luckily, I was inside working on paper work and a Maynard this weekend.

BTW, Nice looking range.

I'm ready for some global warming!!  Maybe algore could give each of us enough money from that Nobel Prize to fill up our old SUVs and drive to a match while generating an increased amount of carbon dioxide.  That ought to get us back on the warming mode!!   Wink

Just don't schedule any global warming conferences... they always seem to bring about blizzards!   Grin

Joe:

Looks like ideal nad prime shooting conditions to us Canadians.
We are hoping our ranges start looking as good as yours.
Here is a picture of our Climate Change winters here in Canada.

How many tons of snow would you like shipped down? Or do you prefer lots of ice for your scotch on those warm sunny afternoons?

How times have changed. When the world and I were young, every summer I could go to the carnival and see Jojo the Dog Faced Boy, the Indian Rubber Man, and Oofty Goofty the geek. Or I could go downtown and see the crackpot dressed in sackcloth and carrying a sign that said The World Will End.  Then political correctness took hold and put all the honest freaks on public assistance. Now instead going to the carnival all I gotta do is turn on the TV and watch Judge Judy or Jerry Springer. Oh the old crackpot with the sign? Well in this new age he’s an ex Vice President and he runs around yelling “ the globe is warming the globe is warming”. I think I liked it better the other way.

Joe:

Well that's the best way to learn how to drive on ice; by practicing doughnuts. Try going on an icy bridge, throwing it into reverse with a quick twist of the wheel. That's what they teach our RCMP officers to do for "Defensive Driving" to do a 180 turn in same lane on ice.

Give it a try. It unplugs your plugged up arteries.

Joe,

I live in the Santa Rosa Mountains down here in California and this has been the coldest wettest (we've had lots of snow too) winter I've seen since the 1960's, it's finally started to warm up, this global warming is great! Now if we can just get rid of all the snow birds from the Pacific North West!

Ken:

I definitely will bring the single shots; already have the ATF approval.
But of course our Canadain single shots are safer since they are all registerd. In fact the Mayor of Edmonton is now trying to have knives restricted since all the killings are with knives. Snow isn't the only issue we have to deal with up here. But then I can have more fun doing the RCMP traing course. How does that work with trail bikes Joe?
