I have two Burris American made scopes. One is a 8=32 for long range rabbit shooting on my 220 Swift and another is a light weight 4.5-14 Short Mag which is only eleven inches long and is ideal for thick Bush or more open country. I liked this scope so much that I thought I would buy another one.
The firm I bought it online from said it had been replaced by the Burris Timberline 4.5-14 which in their view was the same scope but a lower price.
The new scope I bought online arrived today in the post and I had to put my specs. on to read a very small sticker on the bottom of the scope which read Made in the Philippines.
Its a good scope but I did think I was buying American made.
