No personal experience with Pac Nor barrels but I have several friends who have used them more than once--all experienced the same thing. Good to not so good.

I ordered a barrel from Pac-Nor Barreling for a project rifle I put together last summer.  It was for a model 70 Winchester (yeah, it has one of those bolt thingies) in 7x57 mm.  I broke the barrel in while working up an elk load for an October trip to Colorado.  After settling on a load, I shot groups out to 400 yards to figure out the exact drop at various ranges.  The rifle shot 160-grain Nosler partitions into one hole at 100 yards and printed two inches at 400 yards.  This seemed to be plenty good to me.

You need to read the article in the Jan.-Feb. issue of the ASSRA Journal, page 39, about Dale Reynold's 10 shot .655" group with a Pac-Nor barrel.
I'm here to tell ya, that group was no fluke! Look at the benchrest match scores at Etna Green the last few years.

I haven't used Pac-nor barrels either, but I stopped Chris Dieter one time in the middle of the night for speeding in his chip truck and gave him a verbal warning over a cup of coffee in the local resurant...duh!

I had built an across the course rifle in 260 Rem a few years ago using a Pac-Nor barrel. I broke it in using Pac-Nor's recommendations. It will shoot under 3/4 in at two hundred yards  consistently. So my experience is with one Pac-Nor barrel. Am I happy --Yep.Would I buy another -- Yep

I've had three and they all shot great. I haven't tried his blackpowder barrels yet, but hope to in the future. Mike
