After more than a year I have finally shipped Dick Gunn's lifetime archival material to a proper repository, where it will be organized and made available to researchers under proper controlled conditions as well as being stored, protected and handled in a professional manner.
After discussions with David Kennedy , curator at the "Cody Firearms Museum" located in Cody Wyoming, he has arranged for all the material I held to be accepted at the museum facility, specifically to the care of Mary Robinson at the McCraken Research Library which is housed in the museum building.
I have no further information as to how and when this material will become available for public use but I am sure they will be working on it as soon as possible.
The Davide Pedersoli company has provided the funds and sponsored this worthwhile project to assure that Dick Gunn's work will remain available to anyone interested in bullet design and related internal and external ballistics as applied to black powder guns.
