I talked to him at the Tulsa show in November and he is out of the casting business. Too quote him the pain is not worth the gain.

Hmm,
I wonder if this is because of the difficulty that so many people apparently have in contacting, or getting a reply from, the distributer of these castings, i.e. Wes Stanley?

There was a good range of Single Shot Rifle Actions available, but, getting a reply from the distributor of these castings was almost impossible. I would have bought several that appealed to me, but I could never get a reply from Wes Stanley.

The castings kits were a good idea and the range  available was impressive, but if the distributor couldn't be contacted, or couldn't be bothered to reply to queries, then I for one, am not at all surprised that Mr. Storie got brassed off.

Harry a even bigger problem was that when you did get ahold of them they very seldom had any stock in what you wanted. Wes seemed to be a real nice guy.But who's fault all the problems was it was too bad as I feel it could have been a very succesful operation with the proper Mangemt. JMO. Whitey
