I'm glad they are offering the BPCR model without sights.  Leaves the choice up to the shooter, and he doesn't get stuck with factory sights to sell.  The Browning standard spirit level globe front sight isn't bad.  Takes 17A type inserts.

If you visit the site by clicking on the link above, make sure while you're there to also click on the "non-cataloged" section at the top right of the page. There are several more goodies there.

Having sold over 30 of the Winchester Creedmoor .45-90 High-Walls I completely agree with Paul's comments.  By the way, about half were the 30" barrel version without sights and the rest were the 34" barrel version with sights.  The .50-90 Sharps caliber verson are moving a little slower than the .45-90 Win. rifles.

I definitely plan to stock up on the .45-70.  Sure would like to see some in .40-65 and .38-55 with Badger Barrels.

By the way, I discussed the .45-70 BPCR with Winchester.  The current plans are that they will only be available direct from Winchester (not distributed through normal distribution channels such as Davidsons).  And production quantities will not start until Sept/Oct 2009, with rifles available for sale around Nov/Dec 2009.

We also discussed a .38-55 version, which has Winchester's interest but no definite plans at this time.
