Remington roller small (Read 2250 times)

	This came rolling throught the door, only has the standard Remington markings and a serial number 57362 and 22 set at right angles on the lower barrel. I presume it is a pre 1900 No 4 Cute though (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links)

	If the rollstamp on the barrel is "Remington Arms Co. Ilion, NY" then it is an early first variation solid frame #4.-Vall

	Thanks, yes that is what the barrel marking says The tang sight's only marking is an R on the under side, nothing else, any clues about that?

	Marbles code for Remington is "R3" for a Rem. #4. Maybe it's an early sight before they added numbers, or maybe the number is poorly struck.
