Weaver - I would send back to the company.
Lyman - would send to Parsons Scope Service.  He has all of the Lyman shop drawings and specs - I have never used Parsons but know several people who have and I have yet to hear anything bad.  - the rimfire - cdpersons

Ken
If its an older Weaver, I would contact  Bill Ackerman, 5489 Santa Teresita Drive, PO Box 1174, Santa Teresa, NM 88008. Telephone (505) 589-3833.   I think he used to work for Weaver way back when.

Ken found this scope repair business { (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) } through a friend of mine; he had some work done by them but has not contacted me as to his satisfaction with the repairs he had performed. I'm going to contact them about turnaround time on having my T-6 repaired, lens re-cemented and a good cleaning... Anyone else have any contact with them?

Another fellow who works on old scopes is John Knudsen. His email address is on another computer but I believe you can find him with an internet search. He is the one who sells crosshair replacement on ebay. I have used him several times and am pleased with his work. He is also pretty fast with about a two week turn around for a crosshair replacement and cleaning.

FWIW- Mr. Ackerman is still running an ad in PRECISION SHOOTING.

Hope this helps. Grin
