Couple of old rifles from Kansas

Just got a few "new" old rifles to play with. My dad and I took a roadtrip to KS for an estate auction this past weekend. I wasn't sure it was going to be worth it (24 hrs in the truck - one way), but it turned out ok. The collection was pretty amazing, numerous Winchesters of the varieties '86, '92, '94, '52, '85 winders; Savage '99's; Couple of Ballards; and Stevens. Oh my the Stevens..... Well I managed to pick up a AW Peterson Ballard .22lr, built on an engraved #3 frame. The breech block appeards to be a single trigger block he converted to a DST, custom trigger plate and everything attached. What talent, the triggers have absolutly zero slop, feels like pulling a hot knife through butter. Replace flat mainspring with a super heavy folded spring. Custom sear and spring. The wood fit and finish aren't great, but I can definitly live with it. Topped off with a mint Unertl small game 4x.
Anybody have a value estimate for this one???

Then came a nice Stevens 49 three barrel set (25-21, and two in .22lr), only problem with it is the top of the rcvr was drilled and tapped for a scope block  Sad I think I might have that fixed up in the future.

Overall it was definitly worth it. Got to spend lot of quality time with Dad and got some nice rifles to boot.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Beautiful guns, and both pretty neat from my point of view!
A friend just bought a similar Stevens Walnut Hill with only one barrel, and similar condition for $3,000. Not sure what the extra barrels will bring, but I would guess the package could add $1,000-$1500 to that figure.
The Peterson is a bit tougher to figure (or guess!) as there are not enough around to estimate a value. I've ssen some of his benchrest .22 Ballards (not engraved ) go for as little as $1800. I've also seen a neat Ballard he did from a factory engraved #6 Schuetzen that went $4,000.
Can't tell you where your's would go, as each is pretty unique.
Are you sure that's a Unertl Small Game scope? I thought the Small Game was a shorter length tube of around 15" or so?
