1885 Pedersoli question revisited
Sep 17th, 2008 at 10:30am
Print Post
It is now 17-Sep-08 and the European 'extended vacation' is 2 weeks over. Has anyone heard of the arrival of any Pedersoli High Wall rifles yet?

Also, does anyone know what importer Cabela gets their Pedersoli rifles from??

Thanks

Sorry to keep revisiting this, but the shooting season is rapidly coming to a close in Missouri and I really really want that gun. I am wuss, don't shoot in cold, rainy, snow, sleet, etc.

hi
I'd contact cimmeron and see what Uberties they have available. the new uberties are supposed to be using the pedersoli barrels. I think the Uberties look better than Pedersoli anyway.

Got this email from Pierangelo Pedersoli today Cry

Hi  Bob
the  Hi-Wall  is  in  production  ,  belive it  or  not  the  45-70  is
going  to be  assembled this  week  ,  on  the  38-55  we  did  have  a
small problem  ,  and  we  need  2  more  weeks  ,  but  they  are  90%
ready

Thank you Bullshot.
Appreciate the info on the Pedersoli 1885 very much.
I tried to email Pedersoli and it bounced.

On 11-Sep-08 I purchased a Pedersoli John Bodine .45-70 Rolling Block at Cabela's for $1,300.00 and bargin barn tang sight for $105.00 ($220.00 regular) Just like all Pedersoli rifles, that RB really shoots.

I have a Sharps Quigley in 45-70 with pedersoli, vernier rear and globe front that I'm really happy with. I also have a Cimerron/uberti high wall in 40-65 that I'm not all that happy with. Thats why I waited for the Pedersoli high wall in 38-55 and did not buy the Cimerron.
