I suppose most of you already know that Dan passed away while on a fishing trip in Ontario, Canada last week. He was one of the most knowlegable  singleshot collectors and was always willing to share his wisdom. His sense of humor will also be missed by many. I had the privilege of knowing Dan for only 5 years, but enjoyed every minute.  Bob

Gentlemen,

I, too, regarded Dan as a friend and was saddened to hear of his passing. "Gentleman" was the word that most comes to mind when I thought of Dan. He will be missed.

Why does it seem like good people are leaving our ranks and those that are a liability to society seem to live forever?
