	Yo, Johnboy, I have that issue of the BPCnews. I did try to read Mr Millers article and made it half way through the second part. Thats a whole lot further than the first time I tried to read it. I cant do it. I gave it the ole college try! Joe.

	Johnboy. I was at the range with my problem Badger 38/55 barrel. It seems that after four years and about twenty pounds of powder and a dozen types of bullets I may have finally got the load down. My last five shots stayed within the 24 ring, the others being sighters. This is the type of accuracy I try for. It seems we may have different methods to get the result. I tend to get there by trial and error rather than a lot of math that I cant do anyway. The bullet used is a Saeco 300 gr tapered flat nose bullet cast 40-1. The base being at groove dia .377. The badger had to be lapped twice to get a good taper. I dont know what the twist ratio is. If I could do algebra and have some kind of basic understanding of Mr Millers math it sure would have saved me some grief. Or maybe not. Chucks having his December turkey shoot here perty soon and I intend to get me a turkey with this load. That is if this load will perform twice. When It comes to BP I've been let down many times. 	Sorry I haven't checked back in for awhile. I know aboslutely nothing about twist ratios for bullets. Twist rates of barrels, yes, but not ratios for bullets. I am much like Joe in that I am a sort of "seat of the pants" trial and error guy. If it works I don't mess with it, and if it doesn't I try something else. The 376 272 I use has worked for what I do with it, and worked well with a number of different rifles in .38-55 cal. I haven't shot it over 200 yds., so can't tell you about longer distances. It still holds true up to 200 yds., giving groups of under 2" for me, and that's as good as I can hold. I had a friend (better shooter) try it at 200 yds. and he was able to wring out 1.5" groups.

	Update: Ideal 375166 remake ... Order for 100 molds has been made to Lyman. Should be available soon depending on Lyman's production backlog

	Merwin - No. Lou has not received the molds yet and I'd say he has bought a sufficent number to cover all how want one. When the molds are recived, I'll post all the details on this thread including the top punch and H&I die. If you want one, please indicate Yes in the Poll on page 1. This way, I can keep an accurate track of the total number because I have the bullet on several forums Westerner - calculated in pure lead ... the nose diameter to the driving band is 365 and the base diameter is 381 at 330gr.
